 Skills of using air purifier

Since the rapid development of industry and construction, the air quality has become worse and worse, and the smog has become increasingly serious. Many families have begun to use air purifiers. When it comes to air purifiers, many people know that it can purify the air and filter the harmful substances in the air. As for its working principle and usage skills, few people pay attention to it.

new model

In fact, if you know more about air purifiers, you will not only be able to buy a purifier that is more suitable for you, but you can also maintain it yourself and use it for a longer time.

  1. Purification principle of air purifier

The air purifier is mainly composed of a motor, a fan, and an air filter. The motor and the fan promote the flow of air, so that the air passes through the air filter to absorb various pollutants, and clean air can be circulated indoors. There are also some models of air purifiers that load a negative ion generator at the air outlet to ionize the air out of negative ions, which are blown by a fan to form a negative ion current, thereby producing the effect of purifying the air.

And this filter is also different, generally made of stainless steel; there is also a composite filter, which filters out odors in the air, such as formaldehyde, etc., just like the Olansi air purifier K09A, which is aimed at formaldehyde and smog. One of the purifiers is very suitable for new houses or areas with severe autumn and winter haze; the photocatalyst filter is mainly for the purification of bacteria and viruses; the nanofiber carbon filter is mostly used in places with many people such as enterprises.

  1. Applicable people of the air purifier

Air purifiers are beneficial and harmless to everyone, and they are indispensable to individual groups. For example, children, pregnant women, the elderly, office workers, patients with respiratory diseases, and drivers. If you have a baby or a mother-to-be at home, air purifiers are indispensable in the autumn and winter season. When the child develops, all functions are not healthy. If you inhale too much haze or a virus, it is easy to get sick. The mother-to-be will not only harm the mother’s body. It will also threaten the baby’s health and cause irreversible damage. Those with babies and pregnant women at home can choose a purifier such as Olansi K09C, which specializes in removing haze, viruses, bacteria, formaldehyde and allergens.

Human immunity declines, metabolism becomes slower in autumn and winter, and it is easy to get sick. It is even more uncomfortable to inhale unclean things. The air circulation in the office is not good. If a person catches a cold, it may quickly spread to everyone. And the people who work in the office are usually very busy, don’t have time to exercise, and are easy to get sick. Olansi K15B is specially designed for the office. The purifier with negative ions removes formaldehyde and second-hand smoke, etc. The effect is very good. Not to mention patients with respiratory diseases and drivers, the outside air is not good, and they are the most affected, so air purifiers are indispensable.

  1. The placement skills of the air purifier

If the air purifier is placed in the wrong position, it can really be done with half the effort. Do not place it close to walls or furniture. A distance of more than 1 meter from the wall is better. If it doesn’t get in the way, it’s best to put it in the middle of the house and try not to get too close to people.

  1. Tips for using air purifier

In autumn and winter, in a dry environment, the air purifier and humidifier can be used together, and the effect will be better. Since the purifier has a limited service life and needs to be replaced every other time, it is best to choose a purifying filter with a regenerative function. In addition, most of the filters cannot be washed with water, and the purification effect will be lower after washing. Therefore, after detecting a significant drop in the purification effect, the filter should be replaced.

  1. How to buy air purifier

When buying an air purifier, you should consider your own situation to see which people you are targeting and which air quality problems you want to solve. In addition, an air purifier of suitable size should be selected according to the size and pattern of the room. As far as the purifier itself is concerned, the choice of filter element is very important. A good filter material can absorb pollutants above 0.3 microns, and the purification capacity is close to 100%. When buying, you must look at the various indexes.

These top-rated air purifiers with HEPA filters will filter out allergens, pollutants, and more

More than 50 million Americans suffer from some type of allergy each year, according to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America; hay fever (a.k.a. allergic rhinitis) is particularly common in the spring, affecting about 8% of all American adults.

Hay fever usually hits as the trees begin their annual growth in the spring, since tree pollen is a major trigger for many people. Grass pollen is also a common irritant around this time of year, so on top of the usual indoor triggers—including dust mites, mold, and pet dander—you probably feel pretty lousy from all these allergens.

Unfortunately, it can be hard to safeguard against outdoor spring allergy triggers like pollen—but when it comes to those pesky indoor allergens, air purifiers offer a simple solution that’ll greatly improve your quality of life. The devices eliminate contaminants your home’s air, removing allergens, odors, and even pet hair.

new model

Do air purifiers really work?

In short, yes they do. “Air purifiers are most efficient for allergens that float around for longer periods of time, like pollen, pet dander, and mold spores,” explains Stephen Canfield, M.D., Ph.D., an allergist at ColumbiaDoctors Midtown in New York City. The best air purifiers for such a task, he says, are high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters, which can pluck out particles that are as small as five micrometers, or one-millionth of a meter. The best place to keep an air purifier is in your bedroom since it’s where you spend most of your time, Dr. Canfield says.

Beyond the obvious benefits of cleaning the air we breathe every day, the devices might also offer protection from illness. In a Yale University study conducted in response to COVID-19 last summer, researchers found that HEPA air purifiers contained over 99% of aerosols in a cramped hospital setting, meaning they could help limit the the spread of COVID-19 within homes and other enclosed spaces. (Of course, air purifiers should by no means replace other safety practices like social distancing, hand-washing, and masking.)

How to choose the best air purifier for your home

Just like air conditioners, air purifiers should vary from room to room—and some even come with bells and whistles like WiFi connectivity and heating. Narrow down your search with these tips.

✔️Calculate operating costs. These days, plenty of high-quality air filters don’t actually cost that much to run. Look for products that have been certified under the CE, ROHS, CB

✔️Measure your room. Because the efficacy of air purifiers depends on the size of their spaces, you should measure the length and width of your room, then multiply those numbers to find the size of the space in square feet. After that, simply choose a purifier rated for that size. If you aren’t able to measure the room, determine whether it’s small, medium or large; home offices and bedrooms are usually on the smaller end, while living and dining rooms are usually on the larger end.

People who are particularly concerned about allergens or pollutants can also determine the clean air delivery rate (CADR), measured in cubic feet per minute (cfm), necessary for your room’s size. This figure expresses the volume of air cleaned every minute. Divide your room’s square footage by 1.55 to find the minimum CADR rating for your space; for example, if your bedroom is 130 square feet, your air purifier should have a CADR rating of at least 84 cfm.

✔️Consider your specific needs. First, decide which type of filter is best for you. HEPA models are quite popular because of their proven ability to trap allergens.

Incorrect use of the air purifier equals invalid

Air purifiers, also known as “air cleaners”, air cleaners, and purifiers, refer to products that can absorb, decompose or transform various air pollutants, and effectively improve air cleanliness. The Economic Daily-China Economic Net reminds that an air purifier is invalid if used incorrectly.

4.26

First of all, the air purifier needs to be placed in a place with airflow, otherwise it will not be able to perform its function of processing air. If the air in the position is too static, the purification effect will be greatly reduced.

6

In addition, if the air purifier wants to achieve the ideal use effect, it must be used for a long time and work for a short time. The effect on purifying the air is extremely limited.

10

Because the air purifier needs to absorb and filter the dirt in the air. Sometimes it also has a humidification function, so the filter and the sink are parts that need to be cleaned regularly. Regularly wipe and remove dust from the air outlet, air inlet and internal filter of the purifier every half a month or a month, which can extend the service life of the filter and greatly reduce the maintenance cost of the product. If the sink is not cleaned in time, the filter screen will become moldy, and the air purifier will have a sour smell when it is turned on.

K09b_06

Especially in the bedroom, the doors and windows of the air purifier should be closed during use. Otherwise, the outdoor dust will continue to enter, and the air purifier will also be difficult to resist. But closing doors and windows for a long time is not good, so it is appropriate to open windows for ventilation at noon or when people are away from the bedroom for a short time.

OLANSI FAMILY 1

The principle of air purifier

The air purifier is mainly composed of a motor, a fan, an air filter and other systems. Its working principle is: the motor and fan in the machine circulate the indoor air, and the polluted air passes through the air filter in the machine to remove or adsorption of various pollutants. OLANSI air purifier will also install a negative ion generator at the air outlet (the high voltage in the negative ion generator generates DC negative high voltage during operation) to continuously ionize the air to produce a large number of negative ions, which are sent out by the micro fan to form negative ions airflow achieves the purpose of cleaning and purifying the air.

K15B_06

Passive adsorption filter type (filter purification type)

The main principle of the passive air purifier is: the air is drawn into the machine with a fan, and the air is filtered through the built-in filter, which can filter dust, odor, toxic gas and kill some bacteria. The filter is mainly divided into: particulate filter and organic filter. The particulate filter is divided into coarse filter and fine particulate filter. The quality of the fan and filter of this type of product determines the air purification effect, and the location of the machine and the indoor layout will also affect the purification effect.

6.7

Active purification principle (no filter type)

The fundamental difference between the principle of an active air purifier and the principle of passive air purification is that the active air purifier gets rid of the restrictions of the fan and filter, instead of passively waiting for the indoor air to be drawn into the purifier for filtering and purification. Instead, it effectively and actively releases purification and sterilization factors into the air, and through the characteristic of air diffusion, it reaches all corners of the room to purify the air without dead ends. The technologies for purifying and sterilizing factors on the market mainly include silver ion technology, negative ion technology, low temperature plasma technology, photocatalyst technology and plasmaplasma group ion technology. The biggest defect of this type of product is the problem of excessive ozone emission.

Double purification (active purification + passive purification)

This kind of purifier actually combines passive purification technology with active purification technology.

6.7.2.1

To avoid secondary pollution

The purification material of the air purifier has a service life. After a period of use, it will adhere to particulate matter or other microorganisms, and the purification material is saturated, and it has no purification effect. Instead, pollutants enter the room with the purifier turned on. The purification materials should be replaced in time according to the degree of pollution and the time of use.

Best air purifiers: Don’t let your allergies get the best of you

K15B_11

The oft-overlooked aspect of health is the air that we breathe at home. While we all have an idea of how bad the air outside can be, particularly for those of us living in cities and dealing with pollution, the air inside can be just as toxic. From harsh cleaning chemicals to pet dander and pollen coming in, the air at home may not be as clean as you’d expect.

The answer is to get an air purifier. These devices are basically fans that suck in dirty air, clean it in a filter and pass out nice clean air the otherside. From reducing allergy incidents to making it easier to breathe and sleep, an air purifier can make a massive difference to your life. Here, we’ve rounded up the best of the models that we’ve tested. We’ve included a variety of products, from the simple, dumb models that simply suck in air to smarter models that can monitor the air automatically, ramping up when harmful particles are detected, so there’s something for every budget here.

The air in your home and workspace can be infiltrated with germs, dust, mold spores, pet dander, smoke, allergens, and other pollutants that can affect your health. While vacuuming often will help reduce the amount of dust in areas, it is not so great at removing those extra fine particles that it cannot pick up; in order to do this, and improve your air quality, you require an air purifier.

Your large rooms may be harboring these airborne particles that are damaging to your health. Air purifiers work by cleansing your air, drawing dirty air in, removing and cleansing the particles you won’t want to be breathing in, providing you with clean air; they are unlike humidifiers, which add particles into the air. The majority of air purifiers feature a filtration system to trap particles as the air moves through them, whereas some air purifiers can neutralize these particles without requiring a filter.

Cleaner air benefits us all, but especially those who suffer from conditions like asthma or have allergies. If you suffer from allergies or have asthma, you will notice a reduction in symptoms if you use your air purifiers frequently, as it will help remove allergens, pet dander, and dust, the main culprits behind your condition.

So, which are the best air purifiers for large rooms? This guide will help you determine the best air purifier for your large room and help you identify some key features you need to consider prior to any purchase you may make. Let’s get started!

What air pollutants can air purifiers absorb

Walking into modern homes, we can find that in addition to traditional home appliances such as empty ice washers, home appliances that improve the quality of life such as sweeping robots and air purifiers have also begun to enter thousands of homes. In addition to meeting the needs of daily life, a better quality of life has also become what modern people are seeking. In fact, everyone is no stranger to the product of air purifier. As long as the term PM2.5 was known to everyone, air purifiers entered people’s sight. And as to whether the air purifier is useful or not? Can the air purifier absorb formaldehyde? Such questions also exist. What kind of air pollutants can air purifiers absorb? Working principle of air purifier,Today, let’s talk about this.

China Air Purifier Manufacturer

China Air Purifier Manufacturer

PM2.5

PM2.5 has an important impact on air quality and visibility. Compared with the coarser atmospheric particulate matter, PM2.5 has a small particle size, large area, strong activity, easy to carry heavy metals, microorganisms and other harmful substances, and has a long residence time in the atmosphere and a long transportation distance, which is harmful to the quality of the atmospheric environment and the human body. There is a certain threat to health. PM2.5 is not only available outdoors, but also indoors. Ninety percent of indoor PM2.5 comes from smoking, and the cooking fume produced by cooking will also aggravate the indoor concentration of PM2.5. Due to the particulate matter produced by smoking and cooking oil fume, long-term exposure may cause damage to the human respiratory tract.

formaldehyde

Formaldehyde is a colorless irritant gas, which has irritating effects on human eyes and nose. At present, formaldehyde has been listed as a “known human carcinogen”. The biggest factor that causes excessive formaldehyde in the indoor environment is home improvement building materials. In home improvement building materials, formaldehyde hides in various glues and coatings in wall paint, floor, and furniture. Formaldehyde can cause tension, dizziness, headaches and other hazards to the nervous system. It can also damage the respiratory tract, digestive tract, circulatory system and nervous system to varying degrees. Long-term living in a house with excessive formaldehyde may cause serious consequences.

Dust, bacteria and other substances

Indoor dust, shedding hair, pet dander, indoor odor, bacteria and viruses and other indoor pollution particles can easily pass through the human hair filter and blood barrier, causing discomfort and disease to humans. Diseases such as allergic asthma, family colds, and other respiratory infections may be closely related to the poor quality of indoor air. Indoor air pollution seriously affects our health every day.

Air purifier mainly uses a fan to draw air into the machine, and then filters the air through a built-in filter, which can filter dust, odor, and disinfect. Generally speaking, air purifiers are suitable for newly renovated or renovated homes, homes with asthma or pets, hotels and hospitals and other public places.

Overview of China’s air purifier market prospects

The outbreak of the pandemic, it makes the indoor air purifier market has good prospects, and the market share continues to increase. At present, nearly 2 million excess deaths in development may be caused by indoor air pollution. About 4% of the global diseases are related to the indoor environment. Indoor air pollution has become an invisible killer for humans.

Banner5

According to relevant statistics, the number of excess deaths caused by indoor air pollution in my country each year can reach 111,000, the number of excess outpatient visits is 220,000, and the number of excess emergency visits is 4.3 million.

After experiencing “soot-type” and “photochemical smog-type” pollution, human society has entered the period of the third pollution “indoor air pollution”.

According to the test results of authoritative departments in my country, the indoor air pollution in newly-decorated bedrooms and office buildings is usually 5-10 times that of outdoor air pollution, and some even reach 100 times. In undecorated and newly renovated houses, the detection rate of the main indoor pollutants formaldehyde, benzene, TVOC and other harmful gases is 100%. Formaldehyde usually exceeds the standard by 5 times, even after 6 months, it will exceed the standard by more than 3 times. . Experiments have proved that when the amount of formaldehyde released in every 100 grams of wood-based panels is 60-100 mg, it will cause obvious harm to the human body.

K09A

Relevant departments in Beijing conducted tests on 30 renovated houses and found that the concentration of formaldehyde exceeded the standard by 73%. A survey of the indoor environment of 53 new homes in Hangzhou showed that 79% of the concentration of formaldehyde exceeded the standard. Relevant departments in Shenzhen carried out sampling tests on the indoor environmental quality of 11 units and households. The results showed that only 1 household met the standards, and the other 10 had pollution problems to varying degrees. One household had 25 times the formaldehyde exceeding the standard, and the other household had a total pollution problem. Volatile organic compounds exceed the standard by more than 6 times.

Most of the building materials, furniture products and decoration materials currently used in residential and office buildings in my country contain excessive (or severely excessive) formaldehyde, benzene, ammonia, radon, chlorinated hydrocarbons and other substances that are extremely harmful to human health, which are gradually released The organic and inorganic pollutants are not discharged to the outdoors in time and decomposed indoors, resulting in deterioration of indoor air quality and increasingly serious pollution. The harm to human physical and mental health has to a large extent exceeded that of outdoor air pollution.

According to surveys, there are currently nearly 400 million people in my country suffering from indoor pollution syndromes such as asthma, allergic rhinitis, infertility, and fetal malformations to varying degrees. Poor indoor air quality is one of the main reasons. In addition, according to a recent report by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the medical expenses for physical illnesses caused by air pollution in my country are estimated to be 17.1 billion yuan, and most residents in cities spend more than 80% of their time indoors. This shows that At present, my country’s indoor air pollution is in a very serious state, and its harmfulness cannot be ignored.

It can be seen that the market prospects of air purifiers are very good, whether in China or the world, and the demand for the air purification industry is also increasing. The combination of smart home and air purification is also inevitable, so as to adapt to the development of the times.

Olansi has more than 12 years experiences in the field of air treatment in China. We have exported thousands of products to the oversea market every month.

Small details of the air purifier being used

Air purifier is a product that can filter or kill air pollutants and effectively improve air cleanliness. The correct use of air purifiers can not only ensure the service life of the air purifier, but also ensure the best purification effect of the air purifier. Pay attention to the following links in use:

K15B_06

1. Start the air purifier to clean the air according to the environmental pollution. For example, an air purifier that purifies PM2.5 pollution is best used when air pollution is serious or indoor environmental pollution is serious, to ensure a good purification effect. If the atmospheric air quality is good, there is no need to turn on the air purifier for a long time. It can be used in combination with a humidifier in summer and winter for the best effect.

2. Clean and maintain the purifier in time. Install an electrostatic adsorption type purifier with a cleaning signal light. When the signal light is on, it indicates that the dust collection is full, and the dust collecting plate must be cleaned.

3. For purifiers with high-efficiency filtration function, you can often check the filter replacement indicator. If there is no indicator, you can turn on the machine to check the pollution of the filter element. If the filter element turns black, replace the filter element immediately.

4. Pay attention to the purification effect of the air purifier during use. If you find that the purification effect is significantly reduced or the air purifier is turned on and you find a peculiar smell, you should replace the filter material and clean the filter in time.

5. Pay attention to safe use. When using the electrostatic adsorption air purifier, please avoid direct contact with children because of its high voltage to prevent electric shock. Activated carbon filter element and high efficiency filter should be kept away from fire sources during use, to avoid accidental inhalation of cigarette butts of smokers, and to prevent fire.

6. The location of the air purifier is also very important. Try not to place it against the wall or furniture, preferably in the middle of the house, or at a distance of more than 1m from the wall when in use.

7. Don’t place ordinary air purifiers too close to the human body, because there are more harmful gases around the purifier. If the purifier that purifies smoking smoke can be closer to the smoker.

8. Do not use an air purifier if the room has conditions to open windows for ventilation, but pay attention to outdoor air pollution when opening windows for ventilation. Sharing comes from Chunjingyuan Trading.

  1. If you choose a purifier with humidification function, or an air purifier with wet purification technology, you should be careful not to use it during the summer rainy season, sauna days or places with high humidity, otherwise it will greatly reduce the purification effect of the air purifier .

  1. -Under normal circumstances, when people are not in the room, please do not turn on the formaldehyde-removing air purifier for a long time. However, the ozone disinfection purifier should not be turned on in a room with people as much as possible. You can use the timer switch function, or after closing the doors and windows, turn on one room by one.

Buying an air purifier, besides giving yourself a peace of mind what else?

From October 30 to November 1, the first Global Conference on Air Pollution and Health was held at the headquarters of the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland.

The meeting pointed out that air pollution in most cities exceeds the air quality level recommended by the World Health Organization, and household air pollution is the main killer of rural and poor families. Every year, about 7 million people worldwide die from air pollution, which is also one of the causes of premature death. One third of all deaths caused by stroke, lung cancer and heart disease are caused by air pollution.

Before the conference, the World Health Organization issued a research report on “Air Pollution and Child Health: Clean Air is a Good Policy”. Data shows that 93% of children under 15 are exposed to air with PM2.5 concentrations that exceed the WHO regulations.

154168283965811900

Excessive PM2.5 has aroused everyone’s attention to air pollution. The word smog has taken root in our minds since then. Everyone started buying air purifiers frantically, hoping to at least ensure that the indoor air is pollution-free. Although the current market sales of air purifiers have begun to slow down, it is still the home appliance product with the highest purchase ratio in the past two years.

One of the main reasons for the slowdown in the air purifier market is that China’s smog days have decreased and PM2.5 has also fallen. At this time, most consumers will unconsciously think that since the outdoor air quality becomes better, there is no need to use an air purifier. Is this really the case? When we buy an air purifier, what else can we do besides giving ourselves peace of mind?

Healthy breathing environment
The arrival of winter implies that the high incidence of respiratory diseases has come again. The main reason is that it is cold in winter and people prefer to stay indoors with closed doors and windows. However, a warm and confined space will accelerate the growth of germs and increase the chances of the spread of respiratory diseases.

Among them, infants and young children are most vulnerable to air pollution, and coughs, colds, tuberculosis and other problems are also common in winter. According to the WHO, children breathe faster than adults and therefore absorb more pollutants. In addition, the living space of children whose brains and bodies are still developing is closer to the ground, where the concentration of some pollutants is highest.

A school boy walks past smokeand fumes emitted from a dump in the city of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on February 14, 2017. The Nigerian city of Port Harcourt used to be known as "The Garden City" because of its soaring palm trees and green open spaces. But the description, even if could be applied after decades of development linked to the oil industry, has hardly seemed appropriate in the last few months. Since late last year, black soot has been falling from the sky, scaring and angering residents who claim nothing is being done to protect their health. / AFP / PIUS UTOMI EKPEI (Photo credit should read PIUS UTOMI EKPEI/AFP/Getty Images)

This food blogger Nuomi love letter has a deep understanding. She said at a recent sharing meeting: “Last year, my second treasure had a full cough in the winter for a month. I took her to see a doctor. The doctor gave me an antidote. Allergy medicine, not cold medicine. Because her cough is caused by allergies in the air.” So, she bought an air purifier, and after using it for a period of time, she found that the baby’s cough symptoms did not get better. less.

The function of the air purifier itself is to filter various pollutants and germs in the air and provide people with a healthy breathing environment. When consumers choose an air purifier, of course, what they care most about is its purification function.

However, the filter screen and the filtering technology are different, and the cleaning ability of the air purifier is quite different. Generally, we are divided into pure physical air purifier and non-pure physical air purifier according to the working principle of the filter. The pure physical air purifier is to completely rely on HEPA, activated carbon and other filters to filter the polluting particles in the air. Pure physical air purifiers include Xiaomi, 352, IQAir, Honeywell and so on. The non-pure physical air purifier purifies the air through electrostatic technology, or a combination of filter and electrostatic technology. The advantage of this technology is that it not only improves the clean air output ratio (CADR value), but also reduces noise. However, non-pure physical air purifiers will produce a small amount of ozone. Most Japanese brands are non-pure physical air purifiers.
